2024 NCCTM Annual Fall Conference

Building Thinking Classrooms is a book written by Peter Liljedahl. The book outlines 14 practices that encourage students to work collaboratively with peers. In my 4th grade classroom I have seen measurable growth, based on test scores, but most importantly I have seen students having meaningful conversations about math on a daily basis. During the session I will share how you can get started right away building your own "thinking classroom".
