The mind of a K-2 student is fertile ground for shaping positive math identity and healthy habits of mind. The reality of the K-2 class schedule suggests that we rarely get 60 minutes a day for math. How do we shape positive identity and develop these habits of mind with such limits on teaching time? We will have to use what we have to get what we want! The session will conclude with 3 gifts to share with parents to help promote the same habits from home.
