2024 NCCTM Annual Fall Conference

This session will focus on using math journals in the K-5 math classroom to capture students’ conceptual understandings of key math concepts. Participants will explore how math journals can be used to motivate students, provide informal assessment data, and guide future math lessons. This session provides strategies for chronicling student thinking and documenting student learning in mathematics.
